How did you come to join the HGB team? I was approached by a recruiter about another role but decided I was more interested in the one at HGB – luckily HGB also liked the sound of me! I’d checked off my achievement list at Waipa District Council and was looking for a change of pace, role and responsibilities.
What's the best thing about working at HGB? The variety of work and people! It’s great to be able to create cool campaigns for a diverse range of companies and get a range of perspectives from people from all sorts of backgrounds.
You’ve got a lot of skills, what is something not many people know about you? I love to create and design spaces in my spare time – I designed our kitchen renovation and it came out exactly as I drew it.
What is one thing you could live without? Coffee!
You’re going on a teddy bears picnic, where are you going to? Into the woods, where the bears live!
What’s one achievement you couldn’t be prouder of? Winning the 2022 Supreme PRINZ award for our ‘What’s next Waipa’ long-term consultation campaign.
Would you rather: be attacked by a grizzly bear, or a shark? I’d rather be attacked by a grizzly bear because I think it makes for a better headline than a shark attack which is far too common.
Last but not least, if you could choose one ice cream flavour to eat for the rest of your life what would it be? Mint chocolate chip.
